Overview:
PLEASE NOTE: This email is to confirm that you have registered for the WorkSafeBC Level 1 examination for the time and date above.

Level 1 Exam: The BCCSA administers the WorkSafeBC Level 1 exam on behalf of WorkSafeBC, but your final certification card will be provided by WorkSafeBC. You will receive your exam results within 48 hours via email and the BCCSA portal. If you are unsuccessful, you can re-schedule another session with the BCCSA. If you need to re-take your Level 1 WorkSafeBC exam, there will be an additional charge of $50.

You have 1 hour to complete the WorkSafeBC Level 1 exam. The exam is an open book; a printed copy of the SafeWork Practices for Handling Asbestos will be provided.

The score required to pass this exam is 80% (12/15).

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

The BCCSA and its venue partners reserve the right to cancel any course or exam session (both in-person and online) due to insufficient enrolment or other reasons. CLICK HERE to review our policy.


Special Instructions:


In Person Exam Session Details:

- The exam starts promptly at 9:00 am. Arrive 15 minutes early to check in. Participants who are late will be turned away and need to reschedule.
- The exam is open book – participants will be provided a copy of the Safe Work Practices for Handling Asbestos Manual.
- Students have 60 minutes to complete the exam
- Students must provide photo ID for verification
- Results will be returned to each student via email within 24 business hours of the exam

Venue Details

- BCCSA office: #400, 625 Agnes St, New Westminster (Queens Court building)
- Please check in at Reception and advise you are here for the Asbestos Exam
- There is no parking on site; students can take transit (we are close to New Westminster SkyTrain Station) or park offsite at one of the many pay parking lots in the area.
