Overview:
Requirements

VILT training is conducted via Zoom with an instructor. Participants should download and install the Zoom video conferencing software prior to the course. You can download Zoom and create a free account here.

Devices

• Computer or laptop with:

o Webcam

o Microphone

o Speakers or Headphones

o Stable Internet Connection

Attending the course using a mobile phone is not permitted.

Environment & Workspace

• Quiet and well-lit space with minimal interruptions

• You must be on your own computer. No group participation is permitted.

Preparation

Participants are strongly advised to perform a system check and set up their devices as well as Zoom prior to attending the course. Participants should have any required course materials readily available.

Course Materials

BCCSA will mail a hard copy of the student manual(s) to the mailing address provided during course registration 12 days prior to the start of your course. If you have not received your manual, please contact the Training Department at [email protected] or call at 604-636-3690

Participation

Participants are expected to actively engage in discussions and activities during course.

Cancellation

To cancel your registration, please send an email to [email protected] no less than fourteen (14) FULL business days before the scheduled course. The full course fee will be charged if notification is not received within this time frame.

Please note: Business days do not include weekends or statutory holidays. Our business hours are Monday – Friday 8am-4pm.
